The full release of the AMD Fidelityfx Super Resolution 2.0 image took place just a few days ago when its source code was published. Previously, the technology was available only to AMD partner developers, and therefore the pace of its implementation in various games left much to be desired.

Now the situation should fundamentally change, because Unreal Engine 4 and 5 added FSR 2.0 plugin, which will allow APSKAILER in games on these engines without any problems.

Unreal

Unreal Engine 5 already has its own Temporary TSR APSILER (the only game with it is Ghostwire: Tokyo), and therefore adding FSR 2.0 to the games on this engine can become as simple as connecting plugin and optimization of technology for the game. Temporal smoothing, by the way, is one of the requirements of FSR 2.0 to work with games. Also in the AMD AMD AMD has been introduced a Sharpening Picture Picture RCAS. If you are a developer and are interested in introducing FSR 2.0 in your game, then AMD has a large guide with all the details.
